Famous Festival Suckers

FAMOUS FESTIVAL of TREES HOMEMADE SUCKERS

You will need

2 cups sugar
1 cup water
2/3 cup corn syrup
1/2 teaspoon oil flavoring
1/2 teaspoon food coloring




Procedure

Prepare molds and work surface by spraying with 

cooking oil.  Insert sticks into molds.

Combine sugar, water and corn syrup in sauce pan.  

Cook to hard crack stage (300 degrees). 

Do not overcook. Remove from heat.

Add coloring and stir gently one to two minutes.
Add flavoring and stir until mixed.

  Pour into molds.  Let cool.

Wrap in plastic sucker bags and 

secure with tape or ribbon.
